I know I haven't posted much lately. With work and preparing for a visit to Kentucky I haven't had much time. So I'll try to catch you up on what's been going on in our crazy lives...
March 24 & 25th --- aka the weekend from hell. Granted this year was much better than priors at Kansas State Kids Wrestling in Topeka. Mainly because I had my knight in shinning armor there helping, Josh. He's helped us the last 2 years and it helps keep me calm having him there. He's great at taking orders and running out cards and doing whatever needs to be done. We worked 3 days..long days but the paycheck is fantastic. This year thankfully I wasn't sick. Last year I had a sinus cold so I couldn't sleep at night-if I would have taken night time cold medicine I would for sure over sleep. And the year before that I had my tonsils out the week before and couldn't talk. So finally I was healthy and didn't have to talk to too many people. I was busy working away at downloading, culling, and renaming files - trying to get them out as soon as possible. It was stressful at times, but that's KSKW for you. The last 2 weeks at work have been packaging and designing products and trying to get them out as soon as possible so I don't have to deal with them.
And I'm trying to be as patient as I can for my niece to arrive. Since both nephews were a month early and spent a week in NICU I'm more than grateful for her to take her sweet time. Yesterday marked the 36th week for Amy's pregnancy...longer than her previous two. As much as I want to meet her (like everyone else).. I will gladly wait for her to continue to bake so that time spent in NICU doesn't happen.
One thing I cannot wait to do it to have my first photo shoot with her. (I keep saying "her" or "baby girl" because Amy & Jer haven't decided on a name yet). I have 6 tutus ready that I made last week. 4 head bands and flowers. A "My Aunt Rocks" onesie. And yesterday I got the most adorable Minnie Mouse outfit. I have to make the most out of my photo shoots with her since they're 9 hours away. But I will get to know the route easy as I will be making plenty of trips out there to see them.
I'm guessing in 2 weeks I will be an even prouder aunt of a niece. And I cannot wait to see Cole & Cason play some baseball :) Gosh I love those kids.
